These terms apply to all monthly website plans provided by KZN Web Studio. By signing up for a plan, you agree to the following.
1. Plans & Pricing

2. What's Included
- Custom-designed, mobile-responsive website
- Hosting on reliable infrastructure with SSL certificate
- Domain connection (client owns or purchases the domain separately)
- Monthly content updates within the included time allowance (text changes, image swaps, price updates)
3. What's Not Included (Quoted Separately)
- Additional pages beyond the plan allowance
- E-commerce functionality (online stores, payment integration)
- Logo design or full branding packages
- Full redesigns or major structural changes
- Content update requests beyond the monthly time allowance
Need more than your plan covers? We'll quote it separately rather than changing your monthly rate.
4. Minimum Term
Both plans run on a 12-month minimum term from the signup date. This allows us to offer no setup fee, since build time is recovered over the term rather than charged upfront.
5. Early Cancellation
- Months 1–3: cancelling owes 50% of the remaining months left on the 12-month term.
- Months 4–12: cancelling owes a flat exit fee of R1,500.
This covers build time and admin/migration costs without locking clients into the full remaining balance.
6. Payment Terms
- Billed monthly via EFT, due on the 1st of each month.
- 7-day grace period after the due date.
- Site suspended (not deleted) after 14 days unpaid.
- One written warning is given before DNS/domain access is released after 30 days unpaid.
7. Ownership
- The client owns all content, branding, and the domain name itself.
- KZN Web Studio retains ownership of the website build until the 12-month term is paid in full.
- Full ownership and source files transfer to the client once the 12-month term is complete, if they choose to leave.
8. Email Hosting (Plus Plan Only)
The Plus Plan includes up to 5 professional email mailboxes on your own domain (e.g. you@yourbusiness.co.za), with webmail access and setup on phone, Outlook, or other mail clients.
